What changed in the past 12 months?

Howdy

Remember how Colfax, Washington, shared their progress in business and in art since I visited? Well, your fellow reader Leota Childress was inspired to share progress from her town, Molalla, Oregon. The list ran to 12 items, including a new shared retail space for artists, lots of new businesses, and a cool recycled piano art project.

Now seems like a great time for all of us to stop and think about what's changed over the past 12 months. We're so busy working at getting better, that we forget to notice how much better we've become.

Before the wild busy part of December hits you, take a moment. Pick up a pen and make a list. Then share it. Share it around town and share it with me. I'd love to cheer you on!

Keep shaping the future of your town,
Becky
